Prosecution Organizations include government bodies like the US Department of Justice's Criminal Division and state-level offices, as well as private/professional associations such as the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA), the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA), and the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). These groups provide support, training, and a network for prosecutors, and some, like Fair and Just Prosecution, focus on criminal justice reform. 

Private Prosecutors' Association: This organization focuses on professionals and academics involved in private prosecutions. 

A Private Prosecution is a criminal or civil case brought by a private citizen or organization, instead of a public prosecutor like the police, state attorneys office, or Crown Prosecution Service. It allows individuals to initiate criminal or civil proceedings independently of government authorities. However, public prosecutors can typically intervene and take over or discontinue the case at any point. 

A Criminal Liaison is a professional who acts as a bridge between the criminal justice system and other systems, such as healthcare or social services, to assist individuals with behavioral health concerns like mental illness or substance use disorders. Their role involves coordinating care, assessing needs, advocating for clients, and helping them navigate the legal process, with the goal of diverting them from jail and towards community-based treatment and support.
